DIY Stikfas Hair
Dremel cut off wheel, masking tape, super glue, X-acto, scissors, thread (embroidery thread works best), 3/4 inch dowel,
<<<Wrap dowel ( I'm using a spoon handle here, the bigger the dowel the longer the hair) with thread. The more wraps the thicker the hair.
<<<Cut thru the thread along the length of the dowel (handle).
You should end up with a bundle of threads.
<<<Wrap one end tightly with masking tape.
<<<;Cut off one end of the tape to make a flat end.>>>
<<<Coat the flat end with super glue. Set this aside to dry.
<<<;Use the dremel to flatten the top of the Stikfas head. (just where the cylinder of the head begins to round off)
<<<Remove tape from bundle of thread.
<<<Super glue hair piece to head.
<<<Trim hair to desired length. Shape with water and hairspray. ( I'm not a hairstylist forgive me)
<<<Or leave it gnarly, and hit the slopes.
UPDATE!!  HAIR INSERTS
Just as before remove the top curved part of the head.
This gives a flat surface to work from.
Use a small (3/32) ball dremel bit to hollow out the top of the head.
This hollow should be deep enough (about 3/16ths of an inch) to hide the glued portion of the hair plug.
Be careful not to cut thru the walls of the head.
Glue into place and style.
Any questions..
