I developed the idea that Alpha City police chief Nighten didn’t like costumed heroes. Then I realized that for this idea to work there had to be heroes. So I dug into the file of old ideas I’d done many years ago. A large percentage of the character designs seen today are more than twenty years old. I have made refinements and alterations to most of them. Once I got rolling new characters almost created themselves. Not all of the heroes, villains and other characters that appear in the “Qui’ote Files” are meant to be in the forefront, story-line wise. Some do have more intricate background stories than others. Some are not much more than basic ideas. Some have become intertwined with Qui’ote and Status Q I’ll add some more information on the heroes details eventually.
